Head Coach Paul Schnarre


In 2008-09, Coach Paul Schnarre begins his 26th season directing the Lady Warriors Softball Program. During Schnarre’s career, the Lady Warriors have compiled a record of 931 wins and 218 losses. Currently, Schnarre is first in active coach’s wins in the NJCAA. He has guided the Lady Warriors to 17 Great River Athletic Conference championships, 9 NJCAA Region XXIV Championships, and 8 NJCAA Division I National Tournament appearances. In 2006, the Illinois Eastern Community College Administration dedicated the Softball field as the Paul Schnarre Field in honor of his accomplishments. In 2007, Schnarre was inducted into the NJCAA Softball Hall of Fame.
Paul Schnarre has served as the Wabash Valley College Athletic Director since 1977. He has provided stability and continuity to the entire athletic program. Virtually every Warrior and Lady Warrior team has competed in NJCAA National Tournaments during his tenure. In 2001, the Wabash Valley College men’s basketball team captured the NJCAA Division I National Championship.
Schnarre and his wife, Karen, have 2 sons, Matthew (28) and Nicholas (25).
