Wabash
Valley College is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association
and the Great Rivers Athletic Conference. WVC operates an intercollegiate athletic
program for the purpose of complementing the educational experience which is
received in the classroom and for helping participants develop thier full potential
as students and citizens.
Vince Lombardi, the great coach of the Green Bay Packers, once said that, "the
quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence."
At Wabash Valley College, we believe that a commitment to excellence on the
athletic court or field can complement and enhance the pursuit of excellence
in the classroom and in life. It is this ideal of excellence which we strive
to instill in all of those student athletes who come here seeking education
and training.
